GSD WebDAV Overview
The GSD WebDAV web service provides a communication between various of applications or devices and DOCUframe database, using the WebDAV protocol. It is used to synchronize (CRUD) address books (contacts) and calendars (appointments) between the database and the application.
WebDAV (Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning) itself is an extension of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) that allows clients to perform remote Web content authoring operations.
WebDAV is defined in RFC 4918 by a working group of the Internet Engineering Task Force.
